Spring Valley students celebrate school spirit at dance

HUNTINGTON -- A 35-13 homecoming victory over Princeton High School on Friday night was more than enough of a reason to celebrate during a homecoming dance Saturday night at Spring Valley High School.
Sharp-dressed young men and ladies made their way to the event, where the theme was "Sweet Dreams."
Principal Stephen Morris said he hopes the students have a fun, but safe evening.
"Of course, we want them to have a good time, but we keep it clean," Morris said. "We make sure it's something everyone can enjoy.
"A whole week of activities culminates with this dance, and these students have demonstrated all week that they can embrace their school spirit and represent the school in a positive way."
