Holiday events coming up at Paramount Arts Center
ASHLAND -- A new program launched during this year's Festival of Trees is called Bid For Kids. People who have too many Christmas trees at home can now bid on trees and designate them to a family in need. A list of families in need will be available at the festival, which is open through Sunday, Nov. 29.
The public is also invited to watch movies at the Paramount Arts Center on "Black Friday," Friday, Nov. 27. Movies are free all day Friday with admission to the Festival of Trees. Admission to the festival costs $6 for adults and $4 for children. Movies include: 11 a.m. "Elf Sparkle Meets Christmas the Horse," 11:30 a.m. "Babes in Toyland," 1 p.m. "Elf Sparkle Meets Christmas the Horse," 1:30 p.m. "Babes in Toyland," and 3 p.m. "Elf Sparkle Meets Christmas the Horse."
