Scholarship application deadline extended
HUNTINGTON -- The application deadline for the Adam Johnson Memorial Scholarship has been extended through May 9, according to Teddy Johnson, who established the fund in honor of his deceased son.
Interviews are expected to take place the following week.
The scholarship is $1,200 and is typically awarded to as many as four students.
It is for students attending or planning to attend a local college, junior college or other form of higher education, and have or are dealing with adversity in their lives. For application and recommendation forms, visit www.runforadam.com.
