'Nutcracker' performed in Ashland
The Ashland Youth Ballet and Paramount Arts Center present the Moscow Ballet “The Great Russian Nutcracker,” Sunday, December 9, 2007. The classical music Tchaikovsky combined with the graceful movements of his fellow countrymen.

1,200 people attended the Sunday Smatinee showing of the Moscow Ballet "The Great Russian Nutcracker" presented by the Ashland Youth Ballet and Paramount Arts Center.
Featuring extravagant outfits, the classical music of Tchaikovsky and 50-foot backdrops, the Sunday production at the Paramount Arts center dazzled guests at 3 and 7 p.m.
"It's a classic story, and it's the Russian Ballet," said Cindy Collins, Paramount Arts Center director of operations. "The choreography and the backdrops are wonderful. It's the ultimate Christmas story."
