Man reports identity theft while stationed overseas

The following information was provided by reports filed with the Huntington Police Department:

IDENTITY THEFT: A 24-year-old man reported he recently received an electric bill for $1,085.29 for service from 2007 at an address in the 200 block of Gallaher Street. The man said he was stationed overseas in the military during the dates in question. Police have a suspect.

BURGLARY: A 26-year-old man reported someone shattered a basement window in his home in the 200 block of Springdale Avenue on Thursday and took $4,300 in cash and collectible currency, $440 in electronics and $200 in jewelry.

STOLEN AUTO: A 24-year-old man reported he was making a delivery for his job in the 1200 block of 6th Avenue just before noon Friday. He said he left his car running while he made the delivery, and when he returned, his car, worth $2,500, was gone.

BURGLARY: A 22-year-old man reported someone forced entry into his home in the 400 block of 2nd Street Thursday evening and took $2,000 in jewelry, at least $610 in electronics and $350 in cash.

The following information was provided by booking records at the Western Regional Jail in Barboursville:

Thomas Matthew Jarrell, 18, was incarcerated at 11:05 a.m. Friday. Authorities in Mason County charged him with second-degree murder. Bond was denied.

Starlette Jean Mattox, 27, was incarcerated Thursday evening. Authorities in Cabell County charged her with felony robbery. Bond was $35,000.
