No damage, injuries in minor quake

CROWN CITY, Ohio — The U.S. Geological Survey detected a minor earthquake Wednesday morning in Gallia County, Ohio.

The 2.5-magnitude quake occurred at 5:10 a.m. It was located 6 miles northeast of Crown City, Ohio, and 10 miles south of Gallipolis, Ohio.

The incident did not spur any telephone calls to Gallia County 911 from residents or those passing through the county.

Also, no injuries and no damage was reported to Gallia County 911.
