Huntington man hit by SUV, seriously injured

HUNTINGTON -- A Huntington man was transported to Cabell Huntington Hospital after a sport utility vehicle hit him while crossing 6th Street and 5th Avenue on Tuesday.

Dispatchers said the incident occurred about 4:50 p.m.

Cabell EMS and the Huntington Police Department responded to the scene.

The man's injuries and conditions are unknown but considered serious, a dispatcher said.
