WTCR hosts broadcasting live interviews

NASHVILLE -- WTCR Morning show hosts Clint McElroy and Judy Eaton are broadcasting live interviews on the radio station's Web site with Nashville artists as they prepare for the 43rd annual CMA Awards, which air at 8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 11, on ABC-TV.

From 2 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 11, tune into the award-winning country music station at 103.3-FM, WTCR and hear interviews with some of the biggest country artists on the radio.

"We had a huge day today (Tuesday) at the CMA Week," said McElroy by phone. "It started off with Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood waking us up performing on Good Morning America and in our broadcast we talked to nearly 30 stars in four hours."

Stopping by and chatting with Clint and Judy were such mega stars as (Reba McEntire, who actually told Clint he was "cute") as well as teen star, Taylor Swift, pop crossover artist, Darius Rucker, as well as Lady Antebellum, Gretchen Wilson, Jason Aldean, Josh Turner, Lee Ann Womack and Blake Shelton.

Earlier this week, Clint and Judy interviewed a long, long list of country up and comers including Joey and Rory, Bucky Covington, Miranda Lambert, James Otto, Danny Cokey, Love and Theft, Michelle Branch, Rodney Atkins, Sarah Buxton and others.
