Diabetes Walk for a Cure scheduled for Sunday, May 4
CHARLESTON -- The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundations Walk for a Cure 2008 will be held on Sunday, May 4, at the state capitol complex.
Registration begins at 12:30 p.m. and the walk kicks off at 2 p.m.
Over 30 Type 1 diabetic children and their families are participating in the event.
Eighty-five percent of the walk's proceeds will go to support research and research-related education.
