Police locate caregivers and ID wandering man

HUNTINGTON -- Police officers have identified a man found wandering the streets overnight. His caregivers also have been located, according to the Huntington Police Department.

Officers received word of someone ringing doorbells overnight.

Then they found a mentally handicapped man wandering the streets in Gallagher Village, according to Cabell County 911 and Huntington Police Sgt. Dan Underwood.

Cabell County 911 received the initial calls alert about 4 a.m.

The police officer said the man could not provide police with any information.
