4 jailed on felony charges
BARBOURSVILLE -- Four people were placed in the Western Regional Jail on felony charges Sunday.
Shawntique Marcel Whitfield, 28, was booked in jail at 1:05 a.m. on charges of fleeing, possession of a controlled substance, DUI third offense and a bench warrant. Bond was set at $20,000.
Bobby Ray Brooks, 23, was booked at 1:10 a.m. on a capias charge out of Cabell County of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver. Bond was set at $20,000.
Bruce Marsh Jr., 23, was booked at 2:10 a.m. on charges out of Wayne County of third offense driving with a suspended/revoked license; third offense DUI; leaving the scene of an accident, transferring or receiving stolen property; and felony destruction of property. Bond was set at $50,000.
Katrina Lynn Burdette, 26, was booked at 3:15 p.m. on charges of possession of controlled substance and possession of a meth precursor. Charges were issued out of Kanawha and Lincoln counties, with bond set at $5,000 each for a total of $10,000.
