Vehicle accident sends at least three to hospital
GALLIPOLIS FERRY, W.Va. -- At least three people were flown by helicopter to regional hospitals following a multiple-vehicle accident on W.Va. 2 in Mason County.
A dispatcher with Mason County 911 said the accident took place at about 4 p.m. in Gallipolis Ferry. He said three helicopters were brought in to transport victims, who were transported to area hospitals, including one the hospitals in Huntington.
The accident is being investigated by the Mason County Sheriff's Office.
