Vietnam Traveling Wall exhibt coming to Bob Evans Farm
GALLIPOLIS, Ohio -- The Vietnam Traveling Wall will be making its way to Bob Evans Farm for display this week.
The opening ceremony to "Honor Our Heroes" will take place at 6 p.m. Thursday, July 3 and closing ceremonies will take place at 6 p.m. Sunday, July 6, at Bob Evans Farm, Rio Grande.
The exhibit will be displayed at the Bob Evans Farm, 10854 Ohio 588, Rio Grande. It will be open to the public 24 hours a day and admission is free.
The exhibit features a 3/5th-scale replica of the original V-shaped Vietnam Veterans Memorial National Monument in Washington, D.C. The traveling wall is 6 feet tall at the center and covers almost 300 feet from end to end. It has traveled to more than 300 cities and towns across the United States, visiting 46 states so far.
