Local escapee turns self in

HUNTINGTON -- A 37-year-old man has been apprehended after escaping from the state's Huntington Work Release Center, according to a press release issued by the agency.

Terry Lewis turned himself in at the Huntington Work Release Center at 8:10 a.m. Tuesday. Lewis had been serving a one- to five-year prison sentence for manufacturing/delivering a controlled substance. The conviction took place in Kanawha County.
