Students put on show during Fifth Avenue Theatre summer camp

HUNTINGTON -- Students participating in Fifth Avenue Theatre camp are opening up the camp to put on a show for the public this week.

Participants in the camp are performing "Capt. Louie, Jr.," a musical about friendship, the ability to make new friends and the importance of old friends.

Performances take place from 9 a.m. to noon each day through Saturday, June 29. The show is performed by students between 6- and 11-years-old.

Admission to the show is $5.

Participants in the camp learn aspects of musical theater, including singing, dancing, set building and creating props and costumes.

Fifth Avenue Theatre Company is a branch of the City of Huntington Foundation.
