Hospice of Huntington hosts variety of activities
HUNTINGTON -- Several events at Hospice of Huntington are scheduled throughout November as part of National Hospice Month.
Hospice of Huntington President and CEO Charlene Farrell said she often hears families say they wish they would have called hospice sooner.
"There is plenty of living to do between when a diagnosis is given and when someone may actually die. What we know is that we provide an expertise of care that supports the patient and the family during a difficult time. We want people to know that they do not need to wait until they are in a crisis situation before calling us for help," she said in a press release.
