Prince of Peace Freewill Baptist Church donates time, gifts to Samaritan's Purse

HUNTINGTON -- The Prince of Peace Freewill Baptist Church in Huntington wrapped up its collection efforts for the Samaritan's Purse organization on Monday.

Samaritan's Purse, a nondenominational evangelical Christian organization, provides spiritual and physical aid to people who are victims of war, poverty, natural disasters, disease and famine. The Huntington church, located on Piedmont Road, collected shoebox gifts from the community over the past week.

The shoebox gifts will be distributed to people in need all around the world.
