ASHLAND -- Paramount Arts Center has announced its new season of arts workshops, which include performing arts, fine arts and seasonal arts and crafts.

Performing arts classes include:

Governor's School Arts Preparation Workshop Thursday, Jan. 14, high school age, 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., $25;

Stage Makeup Class, Thursday, Feb. 11, ages 10 and up, 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., $15;

Beginning Acting, Thursday, Feb. 4, ages 6-11, 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., $15;

Beginning Acting, Thursday, Feb. 18, ages 12 and up, 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., $15;

Improvisation, Thursday, March 4, ages 12 and up 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., $15; and Auditions!, Thursday, Jan. 21, ages 13 and up, 6:30 p.m.

Fine Arts Classes include:

Drawing, every Thursday beginning Jan. 7, ages 10 and up, 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., $40 per month or $10 per class;

Mud Into Music, Thursday, Jan. 14, 21 and 28, ages 11 and up, 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., $50 (includes materials and firing fee);

Mud Into Music, Thursday, Feb. 11, 18 and 25, ages 7-10, 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., $50 (includes materials and firing fee).
