One dead in Ky. accident
ASHLAND -- A Flemingsburg, Ky., resident was killed Friday morning in a head-on collision on Industrial Parkway in Greenup County, Ky.
According to Kentucky State Police Post 14, a 2003 Chevrolet pickup truck was southbound on Industrial Parkway around 5:19 a.m. when it crossed into the northbound lanes and collided head-on with a US Express Commercial Truck.
The pickup's driver, Jonathon A. Hickerson, 26, was pronounced dead at the scene at 6:15 a.m. by the coroner. The report said Hickerson was not wearing a seat belt. The other driver was not injured.
