Boil water advisory ends for those in Ona
ONA -- West Virginia American Water has lifted a precautionary boil water advisory for approximately 150 customers in Ona.
The advisory was issued Jan. 2 for Cyrus Creek Road from the Left Fork of Cyrus Creek to U.S. 60, Burke Hollow Road , Berry Lane and Sierra Drive following a water main break, which West Virginia American Water crews have repaired.
Results of water quality testing have confirmed that water quality meets drinking water standards. Therefore, there is no further need to boil water prior to consumption.
