The Forest Hills Neighborhood Association to host Octoberfest
HUNTINGTON -- The Forest Hills Neighborhood Association will host the second annual Gallaher Village Octoberfest from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 19, at Gallaher Village Square.
Gallaher Village Square is a new community park located on the old Gallaher Elementary School site at the corner of Norway Avenue and Gallaher Street.
Entertainment will include a street art festival for adults and children, pumpkin and face painting, a visit by Batman, inflatables and live music. Children also can inspect a Huntington Fire Department fire engine.
The Forest Hills Neighborhood Association also will have a hot dog sale and bake sale. For more information or to express interest in participating in the street art festival (all art supplies will be provided), call David Ball at 304-523-4784.
