TTA extends free bus service to OUS community
HUNTINGTON -- The Tri-State Transit Authority is offering free bus service for Marshall University and Ohio University Southern students, faculty and staff for the month of September.
Bus riders will need to show their university ID when boarding the bus.
Certified Marshall Dial-A-Riders need to let the dispatcher know they are Marshall riders when they schedule a trip and then show their driver an ID card when the van picks them up.
The TTA has offered this service for 11 years, but this is the first year for the promotion extending to Ohio University Southern students. TTA began service to Ohio in July.
For specific route and schedule information, the phone number for Marshall University to call is 304-529-RIDE. The Ohio University phone number for bus routes and schedules is 740-894-RIDE.
