Man hospitalized after motorcycle accident

IRONTON -- The Ironton Police Department is investigating a hit-and-run accident involving a motorcycle. It occurred about 7 p.m. Saturday near 3rd and Ellison streets.

A man riding the motorcycle was sent to an area hospital after being struck by another vehicle, according to the police department. Officers were still investigating, and no other information was available at press time Saturday.
