QUESTION & ANSWER: What is your assessment of the state's long-term financial situation?
"The financial condition of the State appears stable for the near future. The General Revenue Fund could be challenged in the next few years due to increased budget demands from the Federal government. The road fund is weak and needs funding. The pension systems need a strong economy to remain healthy."
