Boyd County grand jury returns six indictments

CATLETTSBURG, Ky. -- A Boyd County grand jury returned six indictments Monday on charges ranging from rape to theft.

Michael D. Williams, 19, of Catlettsburg, was indicted on a charge of rape.

Keith A. Wilson II, 25, of Ashland, was indicted on two counts of burglary and a charge of being a persistent felony offender.

Christopher Barnett, 46, of Catlettsburg, was indicted on charges of sexual abuse and being a persistent felony offender.

William V. Speckine Jr., 26, of Radcliff, Ky., was indicted on a charge of escape.

Thomas Stapleton, 47, of Ashland, was indicted on a charge of sexual abuse.

Kenneth Bolick, 22, of Ashland, was indicted on a charge of theft.

An indictment is a formal charge made against a person by a grand jury. It does not establish guilt or innocence.
