4 jailed on felony charges

BARBOURSVILLE -- Four men were booked into Western Regional Jail in Barboursville on Saturday on felony charges.

Michael Meredith, 28, was incarcerated at 2:15 p.m. Saturday. Authorities in Cabell County charged him with three felony counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver. Bond was $75,000.

Marcus Thomas Marshall, 21, was incarcerated at 2:45 a.m. Saturday. Authorities in Cabell County charged him with a felony count of burglary, along with misdemeanor counts of destruction of property, domestic assault, obstruction, assault on a police officer and disorderly conduct. Bond was denied pending arraignment.

John Curtis Whitaker, 35, was incarcerated at 2 a.m. Saturday. Authorities in Cabell County charged him with a felony count of counterfeiting and a misdemeanor count of possession of a controlled substance. Bond was denied pending arraignment.

Justin Tate, 32, was incarcerated at 1 a.m. Saturday. Authorities in Cabell County charged him as a fugitive from justice. Bond was denied.
