South Point to host Willow Branch Sorghum and Bluegrass Festival

SOUTH POINT, Ohio -- The 11th annual Willow Branch Sorghum and Bluegrass Festival will take place Saturday, Sept.19, on Willow Branch Road directly behind the new South Point High School.

The festival will begin will apple butter making at 6 a.m. followed by sorghum making at 7 p.m. Most of the festivities will kickoff a little later in the morning. Bluegrass and gospel music will begin at 11:30 a.m. The event will conclude around 5 p.m.

There will also be wagon rides, concessions, pinto beans and cornbread, crafts and more.

Admission is free. Visitors are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs. Some shelter is available.

Take the Solida Road exit off of U.S. 52 and follow the signs.
