HUNTINGTON -- Three Greater Huntington Park and Recreation District commissioners were re-elected in uncontested races Tuesday night.

Democrat Frank Dorsey was re-elected in the Westmoreland magisterial district, Republican Gene Randall Rhoades was re-elected in Cabell County's fourth magisterial district, and William "Bill" Kelley was re-elected in Cabell's fifth magisterial district. The commissioners are unopposed in November's general election. Their terms last six years.

A fourth candidate, Democrat Michael Lonewolf Cagle, was on the ballot in Cabell County, but he cannot be elected to the park board.

Cagle lives in Cabell County's first magisterial district. State law says no more than two park district commissioners can live in the same magisterial district, said Jim McClelland, executive director of the Park and Recreation District. Commissioners Stacy Wehrle and Charles McKown live in the first magisterial district, McClelland said.
