Ky. native Wynonna Judd to perform on 'The Oprah Winfrey Show'
ASHLAND, Ky. -- Kentucky native Wynonna Judd will perform on "The Oprah Winfrey Show" Tuesday, Nov. 24.
Winfrey teamed up with People magazine to hold a private celebration on the Ft. Bragg military base to welcome home the 82nd Airborne Division, 3rd Brigade Combat Team returning from Iraq. As part of a one-hour celebration, Judd and the Palmetto State Quartet gave a surprise welcome home performance.
Judd's appearance on Oprah comes in advance of her third annual "A Classic Christmas" concert tour. The 15-city holiday spectacular starts Nov. 28 in Hershey, Pa., and runs through Dec. 20 with two performances in Las Vegas.
