Wayne County schools add classrooms
Wayne to add modular buildings
WAYNE -- The Wayne County Board of Education voted Tuesday night to add five modular buildings to its school system.
Enrollment increases at several Wayne County schools were cited as the cause for needing more space.
The modular classrooms will serve Fort Gay, Kenova, Prichard and Wayne elementary schools and Tolsia High School.
The cost of the buildings is estimated at $189,500. Two had already been purchased and implemented at Kenova and Wayne elementary schools because of emergency conditions, school officials said.
