HIMG to offer presentation today on insulin use
HUNTINGTON -- Greg Pfaff, a member of a diabetes education group, will speak at 10 a.m. today, June 21, at Huntington Internal Medicine Group, sharing his personal experiences with taking insulin to help control his diabetes.
Pfaff is a member of the sanofi-aventis A1C Champions program, which is a patient-led approach to diabetes education. Members share information about diabetes self-management and insulin, based on extensive training and their personal experiences with diabetes.
He'll talk about why insulin is not a sign of failure, but can help diabetics be successful, among other topics.
The presentation will be in the Patient Education Room at HIMG, 5170 U.S. 60 East in Huntington.
