FARMINGTON– In keeping with tradition, Gov. Joe Manchin will host an old-fashioned Democratic Rally at the Farmington Fire Hall the night before the primary election beginning at 6 p.m. on Monday, May 12.

Manchin has invited local and state Democratic elected officials and candidates, many of whom have confirmed. He has also extended the invitation to both Democratic presidential candidates.

“This is an exciting time to be a West Virginia Democrat and it’s always great to campaign in your hometown,” Manchin said in a prepared release. “The entire nation will be watching West Virginia on Tuesday, May 13 and we are proud of our candidates.”

The Davisson Brothers will be performing musical selections at 6 p.m. and the formal program will begin at 7 p.m.

The event is free and entry to the hall is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Food and refreshments will be provided.
