May 09, 2008 @ 03:20 PM

WILLIAMSON-- West Virginia State Senate Majority Leader H. Truman Chafin endorsed Hillary Clinton for President today at a “Solutions for America” event with President Bill Clinton in Williamson, West Virginia.

“Hillary Clinton is by far the most qualified, dynamic, exciting, and experienced candidate in the race,” Chafin said.  “West Virginians are looking for a president who will fight for working families and deliver real solutions.  Hillary Clinton is ready to take on the tough challenges we face on day one.  I am proud to endorse her candidacy.”

Chafin serves as the President of the West Virginia County Chairs Association in addition to serving as State Senate Majority Leader.  His endorsement adds to the momentum Clinton continues to build as West Virginia’s primary approaches.

“Senate Majority Leader Truman has been a tireless advocate for the hardworking people of West Virginia.  I am proud to have his support,” said Hillary Clinton.
