Thousands in the dark after storm in Tri-State
HUNTINGTON -- An evening storm that swept through the Tri-State left more than 3,000 people without power Wednesday night.
Putnam County residents were the hardest-hit by the storm, and American Electric Power reported 1,231 customers in that county were left in the dark as of 11 p.m. Wednesday.
In Wayne County, 866 AEP customers were without power following the storm, and 960 customers in Lincoln County experienced power outages.
In Cabell County, 132 AEP customers were without power Wednesday night.
