Thanks to you

May. 25, 2013 @ 11:10 PM

On behalf of Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Tri-State, I would like to thank all who helped make the 27th annual "Bowl for Kid's Sake" a success. Over 200 individuals affiliated with local business and organizations bowled at the Strike Zone on May 13th.

Special thanks to the financial advisors, attorneys, CPAs, bankers and car dealers who participated in the "Professional Challenges" and to our many corporate and lane sponsors.

All money raised during this event stays in our community to help at-risk children through mentoring, guidance and friendship of adult volunteers. I look forward to another successful event in 2014.

Bowl for Kid's Sake

This is a thank you to for the music and desserts that the First Presbyterian Church of Huntington brought on Sunday, May 19, for residents of Riverview Manor.

Pastor Skip Seibel and John Anderson and his wife served the people and had other members of their church serving and bringing some wonderful desserts, also.

They brought a singer and a harp player. It was so wonderful and greatly appreciated. It was a wonderful afternoon for all who attended.
