Liberals lowering moral standards in United States

The progressives (or liberals) are gleeful because the Supreme Court acted in defiance of the wishes of the people. The president and his progressive political friends in Congress are gradually implementing laws and regulations that diminish our family values such as that human beings are somewhat cleaner-minded than animals.

Homosexuals, drug addicts, drunks, thieves and other ungodly people are growing in number. Our government (and our government schools) are helping the increase. Regardless of how many times liberals imply that God intended for men to live like a low form of animal because of some stories from the Bible, if they read enough of the Bible they would have a better understanding of God's intent.

The liberal cause of diversity is helping to lower the moral standards of our country. The influx of illegal immigrants from Mexico is nothing more than a slave market for the big farmers. They "need" them because they can work for dirt-cheap wages. Other not so noticeable immigrants that come to this country for various excuses just stay. We don't have a government that bothers to protect us.

The homosexuals have finally broken the will of one of the finest organizations ever formed in the United States, the Boy Scouts of America. A psychologist that calls lowering our standards to please people with no morals "the fabric of our society" has a distorted idea of what a good fabric should be. If you have a son in the Boy Scouts, get them out of the Boy Scouts now. It's difficult enough raising children without feeding them to the wolves.

In tough times, turn to the Bible

Have you ever wondered if there is any light or hope at the end of the tunnel, when everything in the world seems to be upside down? The economy, Mideast tensions, unemployment, Obamacare, and for most people it's how to make ends meet, and much more.

Where do we find hope in all this mess? In policies or politicians? The U.S. Constitution or legislation? In acquiring wealth and worldly goods? In the knowledge or skills or talents we possess? For some, this may be true.

The best consolation I find is in the Hope Diamond of the Bible, John 3:16. "For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life." God loved. He gave. We believe. We live. The words are to Scripture what the Mississippi River is to America -- an entryway into the heartland. Believe or dismiss them, embrace or reject them, any serious consideration of Christ must include them.

Where is your Hope?

I hope it is in the Number of Hope, John 3:16.
