Abortion is more deadly than guns
Another tragic event has caught the attention of our great nation. And once again our government is reacting in its now all too familiar crisis-oriented fashion.
For some years now when a lone gunman enters a school, military installation, shopping mall, theater or on a street corner and opens fire killing some number of individuals, the government leaders give rise to the occasion, but only for a brief moment.
In their haste to garner attention, they overlook a couple of very basic considerations.
First, the gunman used one or two, maybe three weapons from the many millions that exist throughout the country, most of which are owned and in possession of law-abiding citizens.
Secondly, they choose to overlook the fact that an equal or possibly greater number of innocent, unborn babies were being killed by instruments in the hands of the medical profession at that very same instance in time.
Of course, one readily recognizes that particular activity as having been "legalized" and become "the law of the land" by that same government.
Proponents of "gun control" appear totally oblivious to the stark realities of abortion. For every child gunned down, thousands, maybe millions die by abortion.
Could it be said "They strain at a gnat and swallow a camel"? If they truly care about saving lives of children as they would have us believe, then why are they not taking action against abortion? The result could be staggering, to say the least!
