Hire Chuck Landon as Marshall coach
It finally dawned on me how to solve all of Marshall's football problems. It's really simple. Hire Chuck Landon as their coach. He would recruit the best athletes in the world and never lose another game.

Family members mugged at store
Yesterday I had to drive my 86-year-old mother to the emergency room after she was knocked to the ground at a well-known local grocery store parking lot by two men who stole her purse in broad daylight.
Both her arms were covered with deep gashes, and she was bleeding badly. At the emergency room she had to have X-rays and a CT scan to rule out a fractured neck. This was all the more shocking considering my 30-year-old niece was mugged at the same grocery store a year earlier.
Having two members of the same family mugged at the same grocery store raises several questions: How many other Huntington residents have been attacked at this store? Why doesn't the store provide better security for its patrons? Finally, considering the majority of these types of crimes are being perpetrated by drug addicts, according to the police officer I spoke with, what can we do as individuals and a community to combat this ongoing problem?
