Sen. Jenkins is the change that West Virginia needs
I am a recent graduate from Huntington High School in Huntington, W.Va. Though I am leaving for college in the fall, I hope one day to be able to return to West Virginia and find a job, and I think Senator Jenkins can make that a reality.
I am a firm believer that change is not only good, but necessary, especially in this situation. Congressman Rahall has been in office since before I was born, and during that time he has become a puppet for his backers in Washington. Rahall has long since forgotten what it means to be a true West Virginian.
I have known Senator Jenkins for 18 years, and in that time he has become not only a role model, but someone I consider to be a great friend. There is no doubt in my mind that when Senator Jenkins takes office that he will follow through with every promise he has made because that is just the type of person that he is. A vote for Senator Jenkins is a vote for West Virginia.
