Mark Caserta: Obama administration warns not to challenge reform
Greetings, comrades.
During his presidential campaign, Barack Hussein Obama promised us a "new kind of politics" on Capitol Hill, and for once he's living up to his word.
The leader of our country is making it clear that no longer is healthy debate and diverse opinion welcome. He mandates that we follow a narrow path toward a new form of socialistic government with a new message which says:
"Be fully compliant on the way to reform, or you may feel the punitive wrath of the ruling administration."
Over the past weeks, a few voices have been heard criticizing the politics of Barack Obama and were met with potential political consequence.
Insurance companies received acknowledgement and support from the Obama administration while they were supportive of reform, but once they leveled with the American people that Barack's health care program was truly going to raise their premiums, they were castigated and threatened with non-exemption from federal anti-trust laws and charged with running deceptive ads designed to thwart Obamacare.
During the buildup to his health care initiative, Obama was in love with small business, saying "Small businesses are the heart of the American economy."
But when the Chamber of Commerce failed to support his health care reform bill because it could impose financial burden on small businesses across the country forcing them to reduce their workforces, Obama chastised them for spending "millions" of dollars lobbying against the proposed Consumer Financial Protection Act of 2009, which would have an adverse effect on small businesses by restricting their access to business loans.
We witnessed administration comrades Chief of Staff Rahm Emmanuel and White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs openly threaten the media not to follow the lead of Fox News, which the administration attempted to remove from the White House press corps and disavow before the nation because of reporting the facts others fear to report.
Obama and his administration declared they didn't want to be in the banking or auto business, yet committed a major socialist action by forcing a free market pay reduction for executives of the top seven companies receiving bailout money, which included the banking and auto industry.
In a move designed to further cripple an already decimated manufacturing industry, Obama appointed his replacement of Val Jones as "manufacturing czar" with Ron Bloom, a devout "non-believer" in the free market system.
While speaking to a labor audience in 2008, Bloom declared, "Generally speaking, we get the joke. We know that the free market is nonsense. In part, we kind of agree with Mao, that political power comes largely from the barrel of a gun."
Folks, there is a fundamental transformation of America taking place right before our eyes.
Obama is strategically dismantling the free market system in lieu of his vision of big government control and is determined not to allow anyone to stand in the way of reform.
Besides a new kind of politics, Obama also promised transparency. Once again, he is fulfilling his promise.
His mission is becoming very, very transparent.
Udachi I khoroshego nastroeniya comrades!
