HUNTINGTON — As the vindictive Jim Vance in the upcoming History Channel's "Hatfields & McCoys" miniseries, actor Tom Berenger transforms into villainous antagonist, who helps fuel the legendary feud.

Thursday night, Berenger instead filled the Keith-Albee Performing Arts Center with love when he proposed to his longtime girlfriend and Huntington native, Laura Moretti, prior to the premiere of the miniseries and accompanying documentary.

Really, there was an almost unusual amount of love in the theater, considering the content of the miniseries, which will premiere on the History Channel on Monday, May 28.
