Timberwolves ranked second in state

HUNTINGTON — Spring Valley’s football team is No. 2 in Class AAA in the first West Virginia Secondary School Activities Commission football computer ratings of the season.

South Charleston (3-0) is No. 1 in Class AAA followed by the Timberwolves (2-0).
Hurricane (2-0) is No. 5 and Cabell Midland (2-1) No. 10.

Grafton (3-0) holds the top spot in Class AA followed by Chapmanville (3-0) and Keyser (2-0). A three-way tie for No. 4 includes Ravenswood, Wayne and Weir, all 3-0.

Tolsia (3-0) is No. 7 in Class AA.

Williamstown (2-0) is No. 1 in Class A.
