New buildings, majors update campus
The past summer at Marshall University probably saw more construction workers on campus than it did residents, as crews prepared a new residence hall, engineering lab, recreation facility and alumni building.

OK, I have arrived on campus at Marshall University, ready to jump into college life. I made it through welcome weekend. I have my class schedule. I'm pretty sure about my major choice, and now Career Services is telling me I need to start the process of planning for my career. Hey, I just got here. So what's up with that?
The options for shopping continue to multiply in Huntington and the surrounding areas as both new and old shopping developments open new stores and restaurants.
Now that you've arrived on campus and classes start in just a few days, you most likely already have a dorm or apartment to park yourself in for the night.
Leaving the relative comfort and safety of home can be challenging -- as can keeping up with school work without Mom or Dad there to nag you about it.
There are several religious organizations and clubs right on campus. There are also a variety of choices in the Huntington area. The following alphabetical list is by no means exhaustive, but attempts to provide a significant sampling of local faiths.

All right, so you're back in your room/apartment/lean-to, and ready for another semester at Marshall.
