The Tri-State is a great place for golf. In fact, the Huntington-Ashland metro area recently ranked 15th among 300 metro areas for great places for affordable golf, according to Golf Digest Magazine. Here are some of the area courses.
Most major national fast-food chains are represented in the Tri-State, including multiple locations of McDonald’s, Taco Bell, Wendy’s, Arby’s, KFC, Subway, Captain D’s, Long John Silvers, and nearly every pizza joint you can think of. While there are too many for us to list them all individually here, we can tell you where the fast-food “strips” are located around the Tri-State.

Most grocery stores and many drug stores and convenience stores in Cabell County offer beer and wine for sale, and liquor can be purchased at designated stores. There are also numerous bars and restaurants in Cabell County that serve legal beverages. Licensed bars and restaurants in Wayne County also serve alcohol.
