Most grocery stores and many drug stores and convenience stores in Cabell County offer beer and wine for sale, and liquor can be purchased at designated stores. There are also numerous bars and restaurants in Cabell County that serve legal beverages. Licensed bars and restaurants in Wayne County also serve alcohol.
In Lawrence County, Ohio, several townships along the Ohio River are dry, meaning no alcohol sales are permitted. The city of Ironton does permit alcohol sales at restaurants and stores.
In Kentucky, select restaurants serve alcohol within the city of Ashland and Boyd County. Grocery stores within the city limits of Ashland sell beer and wine. Designated liquor stores offer beer, wine and liquor.
