CHAPMANVILLE, W.Va. -- Scott blanked Wayne, 11-0, on Thursday in the Class AA, Region IV softball semifinals.

FORT GAY, W.Va. -- Wayne claimed the Class AA Region IV, Section 4 baseball title Wednesday with a 13-0 win at Tolsia.

Cabell Midland's bats continue to shine in the Class AAA, Region IV, Section 3 baseball tournament, and the pitching was equally as impressive on Wednesday night as the Knights defeated Lincoln County 11-4 in an elimination game at Hurricane High School.

SPRING VALLEY -- Zach Moore's ability to be an artful dodger allowed Zach Harrison to come to the plate in the second inning. Harrison promptly belted a home run to cap a four-run inning for Spring Valley.

ONA -- Power was on display Tuesday night at Cabell Midland with the Knights and Hurricane combining for five home runs on the evening.
