Panthers get 6-0 win over South Point

SOUTH POINT -- Allison Chapman tossed a three-hit shutout, doubled and tripled to lead Chesapeake to a 6-0 Ohio Valley Conference softball victory over South Point on Tuesday.

Chapman struck out 15 and walked just one.

Nikki Lindsey and Casey Kirk each added two hits and Sidney Boyle tripled for the Panthers (14-7), who scored four in the sixth inning.

The Pointers are 9-6.
