Calvary Baptist nips Grace Christian, 48-42
HUNTINGTON -- Jace Heller led three players in double-figures as Calvary Baptist defeated Grace Christian, 48-42, in the boys basketball season opener for both teams.
In addition to Heller's output, Trent Spears and Griffen Holstein each added 12 points in the win. Mitchell Harmon added 10 rebounds as well.
Nathan Welch netted 11 points and grabbed 17 rebounds for Grace Christian in the loss.
Grace Christian (0-1) next plays Tuesday at home against Teays Valley Christian.
