Panthers blank South Point

SOUTH POINT -- Allison Chapman tossed a three-hit shutout, doubled and tripled to lead South Point to a 6-0 Ohio Valley Conference victory over Chesapeake on Tuesday.

Chapman struck out 15 and walked just one.

Nikki Lindsey and Casey Kirk each added two hits and Sidney Boyle tripled for the Panthers (14-7), who had a six-run fourth to pull away.

The Pointers are 9-6.
