Winfield rolls by Woodrow Wilson
WINFIELD, W.Va. -- Winfield piled up more than 500 yards of total offense Friday in a season-opening 42-19 defeat of Woodrow Wilson.
Ethan Copeland of the Generals had touchdown runs of 7, 5 and 12 yards. Copeland had 161 yards on 24 rushing attempts.
Generals quarterback Toby Show completed 21 of 35 passes for 264 yards and two scores. Show added a 1-yard TD run.
Woodrow Wilson's Chase Hancock caught a pair of touchdown passes from Brent Osborne of 22 and 65 yards.

NITRO 41, POCA 22: Brayden Underwood rushed for 226 yards and four touchdowns to lead Nitro.
Kenny Stewart and T.T. Loudin had rushing touchdowns for Poca. Loudin also caught an 11-yard touchdown pass from Loudin.
Justin Stewart of the Dots ran for 205 yards and passed for 48 yards.

OAK HILL 14, CHESAPEAKE 0: Oak Hill scored the first time it had the football, the Jackson County Times-Journal newspaper reported.
The game in Chesapeake's revamped stadium was the first home game for the Panthers in two years.
Oaks' quarterback Garrin Stiltner tossed a 24-yard pass to Elijah Starr for the first touchdown.
SYMMES VALLEY 20, REEDSVILLE EASTERN: Tanner Mays and Tyler Rowe scored Symmes Valley touchdowns after Eastern fumbles in the first quarter, a Pomeroy Daily Sentinel newspaper report said.
Mays capped the scoring with a 9-yard TD run before halftime.
MEIGS 46, COAL GROVE 44: The Meigs Marauders came back from a 12-point deficit in the final four minutes at Coal Grove, the Point Pleasant Register newspaper reported.
Coal Grove had a 44-32 lead with 4:41 left when Conor Markins pulled in a 57 yard touchdown pass from Jesse Rigsby and Rigsby added the extra points.
But, two Andrew Burt touchdowns, the final with 1:41 left, and Burt's run for the extra points gave the Marauders the win.
WAHAMA 60, FAYETTEVILLE 26: Kane Roush and Colton Neal both scored three touchdowns in Wahama's 32nd consecutive regular season victory, the Point Pleasant Register newspaper reported.
Hunter Bradley ran for one score and also passed for one.
